ABOUT US

SEN Venture provides a safe environment where children and young people from age 5-13 with SEND can  come to learn, socialise, explore, have fun or simply relax. We aim to meet the individual needs of each person, during the care, support and activities we provide. SEN Venture believe in putting the ability back into disability and going on a venture. So we welcome children and young people with SEND across the wide spectrum.

Location

SEN Venture is held in Woodfield School. Which is a SEN school that provides a low arousal, safe, user friendly environment with wheelchair access. The space allows us to provide different activities indoors and outdoors.

Our Holiday Play-Scheme

During our Holiday Play-Schemes we provide activities such as arts and crafts, table top games, sensory play, messy play, outdoor play, sports games, dressing up, movies, singing and dancing.  Children will have the opportunity to go on day trips such as visits to the park, crazy golf, bowling, zoos, farms and museums (Trips additional costs).

SEN Venture believe that children should be able to access activities of various kinds in a safe way, regardless of disability.

Research shows that access to these opportunities develop independence, social, emotional and physical well-being.
